Many of you are familiar with the wines of Jolie-Laide, but you may not realize that familiarity is a rare treat! Jolie-Laide is a vanguard producer of California’s minimal-intervention wine movement, with a name that translates to “beautiful-ugly,” or unconventionally beautiful, reflecting the obscure varieties Scott and Jenny Schultz work with and the beauty they coax from them. With limited releases twice a year, these wines are tightly allocated and we are lucky to carry them–and to share them with you. We’ve waited years to host a winemaker tasting with Scott and Jenny at minimo, and now it’s finally happening! They’ll pour a flight of 3 new spring releases, and you don’t want to miss it.
