Baia Pasta is an artisanal pasta-making company located in our very own Jack London district. Owners Renato Sardo & Dario Barbone met through Renato’s leadership of Slow Food International. These Italian transplants are making delicious, authentic dry pasta using only the best organic grains and old-fashioned drying processes.
We’re teaming up with Baia Pasta on Thursday, August 3rd, to do a Italianate pop-up! We’ll offer a couple of Italian wines by the glass, for $10 each, and with every glass of wine, you’ll get an aperitivo serving of pasta. Dario will be dishing up the pasta and sharing what makes Baia so unique--and there will be some packages of pasta available for purchase in case you get hooked.
